"Lone Star does not care about your ring light, your caption, or whether the salsa matches your aesthetic. Lone Star cares about one thing only: feeding you well, consistently and without unnecessary commentary."

pull up. park anywhere. the sticker car says hi.

Nobody really remembers when the sticker car showed up. Somebody parked it out front. Somebody else slapped a sticker on it. Now, decades later, the thing has its own zip code. It's where the shark wears a vest. Where the surfboard points the way to the fish tacos. Where you sit when you want to eat outside.

If you have a sticker, feel free to add it to the car. Anywhere except the fin. Leave the fin alone.

The people behind the line.

Susan opened Lone Star in 1996. She'll be the first to tell you the place isn't hers. It belongs to the people who have been showing up to work every day since.

The team behind the grill has been here for as long as most regulars have been eating. Same hands pressing tortillas. Same recipe for the green salsa. Some of them have been here longer than the customers.

Still in the family. Aunt to nephew. That's it.

We've never tried to be the trendy spot. The crew just kept showing up. Thanks for showing up too.
